Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 13, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains what information Motion X Academy ("we", "us", "our") collects when you use our website, courses, live classes and community, why we collect it, and the choices you have.

1. Information you give us

  • Account: your name, email address, password (stored only as a secure hash) and, if you add them, your phone/WhatsApp number, profile photo, short bio, learning focus and main editing tool.
  • Payments: the sender phone number, payment method (for example bKash or Nagad), transaction ID, amount and the payment screenshot you upload. Screenshots are stored privately and can only be opened by our team to verify your payment.
  • Learning activity: the courses you join, lessons you complete, live classes you attend, assignments and files you submit, marks and feedback, mentor-call requests, private lesson notes, reviews and community posts.
  • Messages: what you send through the contact and feedback forms and one-to-one community messages.
  • Saved lists: saved courses, practice checklists and notes, and saved colour palettes. When you are logged in these are kept on your account so they appear on any device.

2. Information collected automatically

  • Essential cookies that keep you logged in and protect forms (session and CSRF cookies).
  • Browser storage on your device for the interactive tools and your preferences.
  • Activity and security data: when you were last active, live-class attendance, and your IP address and browser details for login security and rate limiting.
  • Class protection: course videos show a watermark with your name. If screen recording, screen sharing or developer tools are detected during a lesson, we log the event with your account, the lesson, your IP address, browser and the time.
  • Analytics and advertising (only if enabled): we may use Google Analytics and the Meta (Facebook) Pixel to understand visits and measure our ads, for example when someone starts a checkout. These services set their own cookies and process data under their own privacy policies. You can block them with your browser settings or an ad blocker.

3. How we use it

  • To create your account, give you access to the courses you paid for and verify payments.
  • To run live classes, track progress and attendance, review assignments and issue certificates.
  • To send account and course emails or SMS (for example payment updates, password resets and phone verification codes).
  • To answer your messages and provide support.
  • To keep the community safe and protect our course content from piracy.
  • To improve our website and courses.

4. Who can see it

  • Our team (owner and authorised staff) can see student, payment and course records to run the academy. Payment amounts are visible to the owner only.
  • Community messages are private between you and the other person. Our team may review conversations to keep the community safe.
  • Public content: community posts, reviews and student work you choose to publish are visible to visitors, together with your name.
  • Service providers that help us run the site, such as web hosting, email and SMS delivery, and the analytics services above.
  • Authorities when the law requires it.

We do not sell your personal information.

5. Security

We use encrypted connections (HTTPS), hashed passwords, protection against forged requests, limits on repeated login and form attempts, and private storage for payment screenshots. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a strong, unique password and never share your login. We will never ask for your password.

6. How long we keep it

We keep your account information while your account is open. Payment and enrollment records are kept as long as we need them for accounting and to resolve disputes. You can delete your account from your profile page; we then remove your personal information except records we must keep for legal or accounting reasons.

7. Your choices

  • See and update your profile at any time from your profile page.
  • Delete your account from your profile page.
  • Ask us for a copy of your information, or to correct or delete it, through our contact page.
  • Stop newsletter emails at any time by asking us through the contact page.

8. Children

Our courses are not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has given us information, please contact us and we will remove it.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the latest version. If a change is significant, we will tell you on the site or by email.
